Here’s our first look at the Rawlings MLB game balls planned for the Midsummer Classic in Philly. But first, we must show some appreciation for the logos. These graphics cover exhibitions like the Major League Baseball Home Run Derby and All-Star Futures Game, plus the festivities surrounding it all, like All-Star Week and a 3-on-3 MLBx tournament:
All logos are credited to, and property of Major League Baseball. I think?
And let’s revisit that amazing Rawlings official All-Star ball. Plus, you may recall the Phillies ASG “Declaration Game” commemorative baseball, with its standard corporate blue ink ASG stamp? This ball was used in a single game last season to help promote the event and celebrate the official kick off. Perhaps they’ll print more of these for use as the ASG BP and practice balls:

The 2026 Rawlings Official All-Star Game ball and Declaration Day baseball have long been available from Rawlings Sporting Goods stores and authorized dealers online and on eBay. Now, onto those new mockups. The 2026 All-Star Futures baseballs, Home Run Derby standard white balls, HR Derby Magenta “Bonus Ball” baseballs are all in production and coming soon. (The original artwork belongs to Rawlings and MLB.)

New Futures Game logo! Good. Not so new Home Run Derby logo. Fine.
My collection of identical T-Mobile logo-stamped white and magenta home run derby baseballs was ready for a new pair anyway. We’ll get real images of the real-life version posted soon. Will there also be an MLBx 3-on-3 ball? Or any other surprises? If I knew, I’d have hinted at it by now and I’d probably drop a sneak peek way down below at the end of the post.
How about some Philly ASG history via a random image dump to close us out?
Remember that “All-Star Week” coming soon promotional ball when Philly was named the 2026 ASG host? That was way back in 2019! I regret not snagging a few of those, even if they didn’t make it into game play. See below, that cursive font is Phantastic!
And check out the team’s only other official game ball as event host, below, from the franchise’s Veteran’s Stadium days. Plus the current reprinted version of that same 1996 ASG ball. But no Futures Game balls in 1996; that exhibition didn’t exist. And no HR Derby ball yet either.

Are you still here? Well then you get a reward. Here’s our first look at the Rawlings America 250th Anniversary MLB Collector’s Edition Baseball for Independence Day Weekend Celebrations.

Important note: This will be a non-game commemorative logo official ROMLB model ball. So, genuine game-grade leather, but we believe it WILL NOT be used in games on July 4th weekend. Maybe ceremonial first pitch? Dunno. Probably just for retail. Thrilled to see it regardless after it was rumored they’d be canceled altogether. But dang I wanted red and blue multicolor laces with red-white-and-blue ink stamping.
