The Toronto Blue Jays unveiled their much anticipated City Connect unis tonight with a number of short teaser clips, detailed images, and an ambitious video staring Simu Liu, all posted across their social channels. In addition to some great looks at their flashy new “Night Mode” jerseys and hats, we caught a few glimpses of the rumored 2024 Rawlings Toronto Blue Jays City Connect Official Game Balls.
We’ll be sure to update this post with official images when available. For now, we’ve just got a screen capture from their official video… UPDATE, we’ve got official images now:

The commemorative logo on that baseball is the monochrome replication of their primary city connect logo found on their caps. Here’s are closer looks at that full-color “T” and maple leaf logo, the hat in action, and a bit of a brand story which touches the new emblem:
“The front features an assertive ‘T’, reminiscent of the PILLARS OF CITY HALL, with a maple leaf at its centre, proudly representing an entire nation.” Credit: Toronto Blue Jays.
Here’s one last (pixelated) look at that TBJ ROMLB-CC baseball (or should it be ROMLBTBJCC?). I don’t think this blown-up closeup is good enough to use in the highly esteemed, most revered Museum of Baseballs. Does anyone want to buy a ball at Rogers Centre tomorrow and snap a clear, properly angled, high-res pic for us? There’s a big “eh thanks buddy” in it for you.
The Jays wear these new uniforms for the first time tomorrow night, Friday May 31 against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Hopefully we’ll get some better images of these new baseballs from that game.
What do you think of these baseballs? Share in the comments below. I think it’s better than a few other Rawlings City Connect balls we’ve seen this season. Maybe not quite as cool as the Tampa Bay Rays City Connect, or the St. Louis “The Lou” Cardinals official gamers. But better than Philly and the NYC Mets balls in my opinion, which are linked in our updated Master List of MLB Special Event / Commemorative Logo Official Game Balls post.
